RWA

Ready, Willing and Able — a short bank letter stating a party is ready to transact; a scam-circuit staple with no settlement weight.

An RWA (Ready, Willing and Able) letter is a brief bank letter stating the client is ready, willing and able to complete a transaction up to a stated amount. Banks issue them sparingly and they are NOT a payment undertaking. In the broker-scam circuit RWAs are mass-produced on forged letterhead to manufacture credibility before any payment instrument is opened. An RWA is not a Letter of Credit and carries no obligation to settle.
