BPC (Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation) is the Bangladeshi state-owned petroleum company and the sole authorised crude importer. Private parties cannot import crude into Bangladesh under any circumstances. Refined products and LPG are open to private importers holding an IRC (Import Registration Certificate).
