Brent

The global crude oil benchmark for Atlantic basin, European and African grades.

Brent is the global price benchmark for light, sweet crude oil. It's based on a basket of North Sea fields (Brent, Forties, Oseberg, Ekofisk, Troll — BFOET).

Physical crude from West Africa, the Mediterranean, and much of Europe prices vs Dated Brent (the next available physical cargo) with a differential. ICE Brent futures settle vs the dated assessment.
